We hold gratitude and take extreme pride in our performances at the World Expo 2020 and created history presenting the first ever Kalaripayattu performance at the official Expo led Jubilee stage and the Indian pavilion.
Despite being an Indian fighting style, we had the opportunity to showcase this martial art form during the Commonwealth Day sports event at the UK pavilion in Dubai Expo 2020 and host an interactive session with the school students
We also had the opportunity to conduct the first and only official Kalaripayattu workshop for the visitors and even exclusively train the Expo staff at the Sports & Fitness Hub in the Mobility District.
Another feather to the cap was the opportunity to associate with Dubai Police across several occasions, notably International Olympics Day, Red Crescent, Al Nasr Leisureland and others. We received excellent feedback and appreciation from Dubai Police officials and the UAE national Olympic committee. We are also able to officially welcome the Police officials to our Kalari facility where they awarded us for our contributions as part of the "Positive Spirit" initiative.
